To assist in general operations of a construction job site. A crewman will be responsible for traveling to a job site and working with fellow crewman and operators on various construction tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to do physical labor and tasks
A valid drivers license
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
Ability to follow guidance and instructions
Ability to work extended hours and some weekends
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
Build job-specific wood forms and assemble commercially available form systems
Set and tie steel, as required
Pour, grade, and finish concrete
Erect and wreck all forms
Maintain equipment and tools
Operate a man-lift
Must be able to work on rigging; walk on rebar
Desired Skills/Experience:
Ability to do physical labor and tasks for long amounts of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 90 pounds personally, and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Capable of walking on uneven surfaces and entering confined spaces, including climbing into and out of excavations of 15 feet at most.
Ability to maintain constant alertness to surrounding activities, especially the activities of other employees and moving equipment.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, especially in providing direction and flagging for Crane Operators
Ability to follow guidance and instructions.
Capable of operating equipment such as concrete vibrators, etc. for extended periods of time
